Fuck all that bike shit...I'm coming to help bring tour mug back home....where it was born & raised.!!!

Course I say fuck all that bike shit cuz I ain't got a bike to CC race - - - yet! Lord willin' and the pay checks keep a comin....next season, there will one more NC meatball in the sauce...

Plan is to start B40 shopping this summer/fall - soon as I get the houe sold.

See you FLA-BOUYS soon - and a little warning - y'all best be practicin' yer bulls...cuz right now - Alex owns 'em!!

NC boys...need to talk logistics sometime...happy to help, ride share what ever..and I do have some flexibility with dates of departure & return - and am not plannin to haul a bike unless we can fit the Lightening in with no effort, otherwise I'm fine with going bikeless.

Jim

I wanted to go down, but I'm not going to make the trip solo (not planning on bringing a bike either.)

I will have some but since $$ is tight it won't be anything real nice like you would normally bring.

In any case it will be great to have you (and hopefully more) at the track again.

As of today my schedule is starting to fall together. Unfortunately I'm not gonna be able to make it for the
fun on the 27th.

Looks like I will be on the track every day from the 25th to the 2nd at this point. There are still some
double bookings but I am sure we'll be at Savannah on the 26th and 27th and then move on to the
new Daytona ST or Barberville 1/2 mile/ST.

If I can finish this new beast I'm building in time, I'll be at Roebling playing with the big boys in BEARS and prolly F750. Not going to Daytona this year.

Hmmm, I better get to work...I still got lots of little parts to prep and attach.

I can sympathize. I have two mostly disassembled and one mostly reassembled bike to finish.

Works has been a pain in my ass but overtime $$ is a good thing.

I'm hoping to knock a huge dent in my prep today. Getting my rear end lined up with the frame and making spacers for the wheel and hooking up my rear disk brake stuff. Also finishing up my rearsets and new battery holder. Still got some work to do to the fiberglass on my seat, that shouldn't take too long though. Still gotta finish my fairing mount, rewire, plum all my oil lines, rebuild my rocker boxes when I get my rocker arms back from the machine shop, make a new catch bottle, make a shifter linkage, etc, etc, etc.....

I made something similar to Tom's. Got a big chunk of aluminum and sliced it, drilled it, tapped it and so forth. Got the rear wheel stuff finished up today with more custom fabricating thanks to Tom. Everything's a fucking project...
I'm taking a break for a few days to get over my sinus infection I've picked up over the course of the last week.

Don't think I'll be making it to Daytona but I do think I'm going to ride down with Chuck to spectate at Roebling and go to the awards banquet. Planning on going to the flat track races in Savannah too. Might have to see what y'all are up to for TBBW if we got the time.

You guys have details on the 27th?

It is not abnormal for rain to hit Savannah that weekend, and we'd orginally planned to do one
play day... so .. where and when turkeys?

Better yet why dont you put some knobbies on that trailer queen you feel is " to pretty to race" and run with us big mouth.

RichT- we got a area around the corner from the houses to race round and then gonna Bar B que, drink beers and hopefully listen to some live bluegrass at Max's that eve.

That is an unfortunate prediction... I don't think Scott has ever not finished...
Hell, I don't think I have ever not finished... have I? I had to push the Pig across the line for the final lap of my first race (while Chad pushed my nearly stroked carcass) but I think I've made at least one full lap in the few races I have run.
Larry probably didn't notice that though, for judging by the opening page "Tonup Race Team- Offroad" blurb I don't think he even realizes that I race... (fair enough, as I don't nearly often enough) but since he plans to join the FLA Dirt Diggers (eh?) for CC this year maybe he will notice me... sigh.
Ennyhoo, if things go just so I will be herding a Pig with a spanky fresh engine, rebuilt forks and an un-race-tested rear end... so I may be going slower than usual, if I can do that without falling over... I will, however be hauling around about 25 fewer pounds than last I raced, so hopefully I will not want to die until after the first checkpoint pass and not beggin for Jesus on the sighting lap...
